The Most Complete™ CySEC certification preparation courses

The Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC) is the national competent authority responsible for supervising all investment services carried out in and from Cyprus. Over the years, the jurisdiction of Cyprus has become a hub for investment firms, funds, Payment & Electronic Money Institutions (EMI), and Crypto-Asset Services Providers (CASP). With this in mind, CySEC offers three examinations geared toward professionals working at Cyprus Investment Firms (CIF) and other regulated entities to help instill a high level of knowledge and competence. The three examinations CySEC offers are the:

  • CySEC Advanced certification
  • CySEC Basic certification 
  • CySEC Anti-Money Laundering (AML) certification


The CySEC Advanced, Basic, and AML certifications cover key national and European regulatory frameworks. 

SALVUS Funds has designed The Most Complete™ CySEC certification preparation courses to help professionals successfully become CySEC certification holders.

Candidates successfully passing a CySEC exam become a Certified Person in the CySEC Public Register and are qualified to provide a range of professional, financial, and investment services to retail clients, affiliate businesses, and more. Becoming a CySEC Certified Person will also help improve job performance and help progress a professional's career.
Continuous Professional Development (CPD) courses

CPD is the ongoing process of learning and developing within a profession. Due to the nature of the financial and investment services industries with newly introduced and updated regulations, CySEC requires a Certified Person to complete a certain number of CPD units per year. This is to ensure professionals remain up to date with the latest developments of national and European legislations and maintain a high level of competence when executing their duties and responsibilities.

Certified Persons that do not complete their minimum annual CPD requirements, risk the validity of their certification. Professionals holding certain positions within Cyprus Investment Firms and other CySEC regulated entities require a valid certificate to remain employed.

ICPAC-certified accountants and CBA lawyers are also required to undertake annual CPD trainings to ensure their knowledge and skills remain up-to-date and relevant each year.
